Roof

The house as it stood on Thursday morning. The ridge-beam is mounted and ready for rafters.

Here are the rafters.

We started out by attaching the rafters that were above the sleeping loft.

We then began the tedious task of mounting the ones in the center of the house.

Gable-end rafters

I stood on the silver ladder and held the rafter in place while Ben attached the rafter end to the house frame. He then attached the metal plate to the ridge-beam and then we nailed 2 hurricane ties per rafter to the frame. Needless to say we shifted ladders around ALOT.

More Corolla hauling.

We did haul this thing back over the house before we left on Sunday.

We got most of the sheathing on. The rest will be placed this upcoming weekend.

This was my prized shot for the weekend.
