Day 2

March 24th, 2013 - Day 2
Today we worked a half day - measure, cut, measure again, cut again, etc.
Notched out spaces for the trailer wires.

Lining up the perfect drill hole is harder than we thought it would be.

16 boards sawed - 3X each: Once the, ripped, joists were placed in the trailer we realized that they were slightly higher than the trailer frame (thats bad). So, we ran them through the table saw again to cut them down to the right size.
1 trip to The Home Depot: picked up 4 mending plates to attach our (ripped down) 2"x6"x10' boards and multi-purpose caulking.
1 trip to Lowe's: Returned the 5/8"x4" bolts (not long enough to go through the trailer frame and the 2"x6"). Bought 5/8"x6" (would have purchased 5" but they didn't have them in galvanized).
                      Adjusted bolts accordingly.

Subfloor components are ready to be assembled.
